In September 2015, the École nationale des ponts et chaussées signed an agreement with the International Universities Innovation Alliance. The IUIA is committed to bringing out international entrepreneurial projects, drawing on a powerful network of several prestigious universities, companies and investment funds around the world. "The objective of this recognized structure is to stimulate technological innovation and economic development. Its large international network enables it to identify and then select the best entrepreneurial projects in order to support them in their development.
UASR
In March 2016, the Paristech School of Bridges joined the University Alliance for the Silk Road, founded by Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU). The mission of this alliance is to foster cooperation between China and the countries on the New Silk Roads, in the field of Education, Research and Innovation. To date, the Alliance brings together 132 universities in 32 countries, including 3 French schools.
GUGTTA
On October 29, 2017 in Shanghai, the École nationale des ponts et chaussées joined the Alliance of Think-Tanks for Global City Governance (“Global Urban Governance Think Tanks Alliance - GUGTTA”) as a founding member of the University of Shanghai Jiaotong, City University of New-York, National University of Singapore, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Korea University.
At the initiative of Shanghai Jiaotong University, the GUGTTA alliance aims to connect think-tanks in world cities that are facing rampant urbanization and consequences such as breathless transport infrastructure, a degraded environment and housing become inaccessible. A call to re-invent the governance of world cities was thus launched in the "Shanghai declaration" signed by the 7 founding members representing the cities of Shanghai, Hong-Kong, Singapore, Seoul, New York and Paris.
