Founded in 2012 by the Ecole nationale des ponts et chaussées and the University of Tokyo, the Deans' Forum brings together five French Grandes Écoles: École nationale des ponts et chaussées, CentraleSupélec, École Polytechnique, Mines ParisTech and IMT Atlantique, IBM-Watson , also a founding member, as well as several universally recognized universities in the technical fields: University of Tokyo (Japan), UC Berkeley (United States), MIT, ETH Zürich (Switzerland), Imperial College London (United Kingdom), University of Cambridge (United Kingdom), University of Oxford (United Kingdom), KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden), Technical University of Munich (Germany).
It takes the form of an annual meeting bringing together Directors and Deans of Engineering Schools members and representatives of the industrial world invited to express themselves and debate on a chosen theme. It is a unique moment of exchange where questions linked to teaching and research are tackled.
