The T.I.M.E. Network with 53 Schools, Engineering Faculties and Technical Universities; the EUCEET Association, which maintains the continuity of the EUCEET (European Civil Engineering Education and Training) Network; and the Programme de Formation d’Ingénieurs d’Excellence au Vietnam (PFIEV – excellence program for engineer training in Vietnam), are the 3 networks to which the School belongs.
The T.I.M.E. Network (Top Industrial Managers for Europe), founded in 1989, brings together 53 of the best Schools, Engineering Faculties and Technical Universities in Europe and, in recent years, the rest of the world (Brazil, China, Japan).
The network’s member institutions have the possibility of signing double-degree agreements amongst themselves in order to internationalize their recruitment by opening their courses up to students from other countries and to offer their own students the possibility of studying for degree qualifications at partner universities.
BICULTURAL COURSE PROGRAMS
The students, selected from the best in their universities, study for 5 to 6 years and, when they complete their education, receive two Masters level degree from two different countries. In order to emphasize the bicultural nature of the degrees, the exchanges are organized in such a way that the global curriculum includes elements that represent what is most distinctive and best in each institution’s educational offering.
After completing this program, T.I.M.E. graduates are capable of working anywhere in the world and in multicultural environments.
AN EXCHANGE OF GOOD PRACTICES
Apart from connecting up the best European, Brazilian, Chinese and Japanese universities in order to establish double-degree agreements, the T.I.M.E. Network provides a platform where members can exchange information and good practices and promote the excellence of their engineering courses more visibly. The Network therefore enables École nationale des ponts et chaussées to publicize the quality of its engineering degree and its positioning amongst the best European and worldwide providers.
PROMOTING ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE TO COMPANIES
Membership of the T.I.M.E. Network also helps it to promote the academic excellence of its programs to businesses, which are well aware of the very high quality of the engineers and managers who graduate from member institutions. Mobile, bicultural, and bilingual engineers: in other words, the engineers of tomorrow that businesses need today.
