The training course “My Role as a Public Servant in the Face of the Ecological Emergency” available on the MENTOR platform
As part of the government’s ecological transformation plan, training on the ecological transition will be mandatory for all public servants by the end of 2027. This large-scale initiative - aimed at enabling every public servant to understand the issues at stake and to incorporate ecological imperatives into their professional decisions and practices - is supported by a range of training courses, many of which are available online on the Mentor platform.
"My Role as a Public Servant in the Face of the Ecological Emergency", the training designed to help every employee understand the issues at stake and incorporate environmental considerations into their professional decisions and practices is available online. This three-hour module encourages you to take action, drawing on numerous testimonials from committed colleagues.
A mandatory two-step training program
The required curriculum consists of two complementary components, which can be completed in person or remotely:
- “The Core Competencies for the Ecological Transition,” aimed at acquiring essential knowledge
- “My Role as a Public Servant in the Face of the Ecological Emergency,” aimed at translating this knowledge into concrete actions
“My Role as a Public Servant in the Face of the Ecological Emergency” was led by École nationale des ponts et chaussées, with support from the Directorate General for Administration and the Civil Service and the Ministry in charge of Ecology.
