The research conducted in the School's 12 laboratories is particularly advanced in the field of socio-ecological and energy transition. It draws on the expertise of 496 researchers and teacher-researchers, as well as 673 doctoral and post-doctoral students.

Advancing knowledge and supporting economic development
The research activities of our 12 laboratories focus on: environmental, energy, and climate economics (CIRED, PjSE), water and air in cities (LEESU, CEREA, and HM&CO), the impact of technical systems on territories and their inhabitants (LATTS), sustainable mobility (LVMT), climate science (LMD), renewable energies (LHSV), risk and uncertainty management (CERMICS, Navier), sustainable materials for construction (Navier), digital twins (LIGM), and more.
