Apprenticeship tax

The apprenticeship tax is divided into two parts:

  • the first part is earmarked for financing apprenticeships, and amounts to 87%
  • the second part is earmarked for financing technological and vocational training. It represents 13% of the total apprenticeship tax, and is intended to be used by the employer to pay off expenses. École nationale des ponts et chaussées is eligible for this funding.

Projects financed by your contributions

In 2025, your contribution have funded:

  • A training program on new approaches to multi-criteria assessment, using Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), incorporating various environmental impacts.
  • The creation of Ponts Start-up Week, to foster the emergence of responsible engineer-entrepreneurs.
  • The promotion of women’s careers in the exhibition “A Photo Against Stereotypes” (Un cliché contre des clichés).
  • Envelop’Ponts: an educational project to test innovative solutions in building renovation and user comfort

In 2026, your contribution will be used for:

  • ENPC’s science outreach initiatives during the Year of Engineering to combat stereotypes.
  • The development of a European Bachelor’s degree in engineering, covering energy, the environment, and infrastructure.
  • The launch of the “career awareness” track, to support students in their transition to employment.
  • Investment in the SEMAFOR hub (makerspace, video hub, digital resources), in support of educational innovation.

Support the School on the  SOLTÉA platform

The apprenticeship tax will be declared on the Déclaration Sociale Nominative (DSN).

From 26 May to 21 August, and from 3 September to 21 October 2026, you can designate the establishment to receive the balance of the apprenticeship tax on the SOLTéA distribution platform, provided by the Caisse des dépôts et Consignations.
