AMUR - Back-to-school lecture series
The Urban Planning and Project Management program (AMUR) welcomes its 2nd graduating class in September 2025!
The course opens with a series of lectures coordinated by Marie Jorio, Ghislain Mercier and Pierre Veltz, designed to give students a broad overview of the global issues impacting the local and national actions of public and private planners. These issues include climate, the living world and resources - all of which will be discussed at length during the course - as well as economics, demographics, geopolitics and the digital revolution.
Over the course of a week, some fifteen conferences will be open to AMUR students and, more broadly, to other students from the School and Cité Descartes, as well as to researchers from the site.
15 to 19 September 2025,
9h30 - 18h
École nationale des ponts et chaussées
The conferences will be organized around 3 main themes:
- Globalization and great acceleration with Audrey Boelhy, Pierre Jacquet, Simon Gauthier, Pierre Veltz
- Climate, Energy and Resources with Luc Abbadie, Florence Habets, David Montagne
- Biodiversity, Water, Soil with Luc Abbadie, Florence Habets, David Montagne
The week will conclude with a round table discussion on the challenges facing the forestry/wood industry.
