Buildings and Climate Global Forum 2024: publication of the final report coordinated by the School
The 2024 Building and Climate Global Forum Report, a valuable reference for reflection and action in the field of buildings and climate, is available!
This major event, co-organized by France and the United Nations Environment Programme, with the support of the Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction, gathered more than 1,500 participants from over 70 countries, to foster dialogue and exchanges between international experts and high-level representatives from governments and the private sector.
Being at the forefront of innovation, research, and education, with programs dedicated to address sustainable development challenges, École nationale des ponts et chaussées was entrusted by the French Ministry in charge of ecological transition with summarizing the conferences.
The strong commitment of students & alumni, from our School and partner institutions, as well as teachers, enabled us to capture and disseminate the key content of the plenary and many parallel sessions.
Dominique Naert, Director of the Sustainable Real Estate & Buildings Executive Master, Stéphanie Merger, Deputy Director, & Bruno Mesureur, Head of the International Module, coordinated the final report, with nearly 50 rapporteurs whose contributions were essential.
