The Lab recherche environnement is organising the conference “Buildings and infrastructure: how can scientific research shed light on these issues?”, focusing on three major challenges: photovoltaic energy storage, shared mobility and nature in the city.

- Opening address by Pierre Anjolras, Chief Executive of VINCI
- The rise of photovoltaic energy – generation and storage solutions, with École des Mines Paris-PSL and VINCI Energies
- Nature in the city for the well-being of city dwellers – assessing urban biodiversity and supporting decision-making, with AgroParisTech and VINCI Immobilier
- Better travel through shared mobility – the impact and roll-out of dedicated lanes on motorways, with the École nationale des ponts et chaussées and VINCI Autoroutes
- Closing remarks by Alain Aspect, winner of the 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics, on the role of science in society and an introduction to quantum physics.
This conference will provide an opportunity to discover the latest scientific advances in these three areas, to understand how this research leads to practical solutions, and to engage in discussion with researchers, engineers and experts from both academia and industry.
