Call for applications: EUCEET Association Award for Excellence 2025, in Teaching in Civil Engineering

The EUCEET Association Award for Excellence in Teaching in Civil Engineering, instituted and awarded by the EUCEET Association, aims to encourage the excellence of the teaching function through the recognition of good teaching practice in Civil Engineering higher education institutions.

EUCEET (European Civil Engineering Education and Training Association) is a European association dedicated to improving education and training in civil engineering. Its mission is to promote academic excellence, facilitate exchanges between institutions and support teaching innovations in this field.

The 2025 EUCEET Award for Excellence in Teaching in Civil Engineering is a flagship EUCEET award to honour teachers and teaching teams who have demonstrated innovation and leadership in their field.

Prize goal is to award a teaching initiative that can come from individual lecturers or from teaching teams who have developed a successful teaching, project in recent years. Candidates (individuals or teams) for this award can be nominated via their institution.

The documentation to be provided includes a data form, a report, a photo of the leader or group, and a certificate attesting that the candidate is a member of staff. The report, not exceeding 10 pages, should detail the scope of the work, exportability of the project, interdisciplinarity, impact on learning and society, collaboration with industry, innovative methods, funding, and quantitative evaluation of impact.

Each member of the winning team will receive a diploma and a total of €2,000. If a team wins, the prize will be awarded to the person in charge of the educational team. Special mentions may be awarded to other nominees, with no financial implications.
