A Conversation with Giulia Foïs

École nationale des ponts et chaussées (through its Gender Equality Advisory Group) and the Equality Pole of the Dévelop’Ponts association organised a conversation with Giulia Fois, journalist, author, and feminist:

Being 20 years old then and now: What progress and setbacks have there been in the fight for gender equality?

• feminism (what does that actually mean?),
• the expectations associated with being a man or a woman,
• inequalities in the workplace,
• the rise of masculinist discourse…

These are all topics that concern us all and will be addressed through an open (and candid) discussion. A special opportunity for intergenerational dialogue.

The event was moderated by Victoire Gaudin and Elena Alvarez, respectively the former and current chairs of the Equality Pole at Dévelop’Ponts.
