15 Sep. 2025

As part of the MSCA Cofund program “MISCEA” (Modeling and Interdisciplinarity Science for the Ecological Transition), we are launching a call for applications to select expert evaluators for the selection committee for the third wave of MISCEA thesis proposals.

MISCEA is a doctoral program coordinated by the École nationale des ponts et chaussées and co-funded by the European Commission under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) – COFUND program, grant agreement number #101126720. The aim of this program is to create a network of 18 doctoral students, with theses focusing on the central theme of ecological and energy transitions.

Four MISCEA thesis offers have been published to date in Euraxess, covering a wide range of topics and disciplines. Interested candidates are invited to apply for these thesis offers until November 30, 2025, and MISCEA interviews are scheduled to take place on December 9, 2025 (online).

  • You will participate as a jury member of the selection committee during the auditions (scheduled for December 9th, online).
  • You will send an argued written evaluation of each candidate and his/her research project to the MISCEA coordination team within seven days following the auditions.

We are looking for experts with a strong background in the following research fields:

  • Energy and development economics
  • Geotechnics
  • Civil engineering, Materials science
  • Geotechnical engineering, Soil Mechanics

Your scientific experience, your appreciation of the ethical expectations of research and your knowledge of tomorrow's ecological and energy challenges will be central to your role as expert evaluator for MISCEA. As a member of the MISCEA selection committee, your contribution will have a real impact on the choice of laureates, helping to train the next generation of researchers on these essential issues.

In agreement with the values of the programme, French law and European principles, it is imperative that all evaluators on the MISCEA selection committee abide by the rules prohibiting discrimination based on race, sex, gender, sexual orientation, age or state of health.
