The Champs des possibles collective, La Déroute des Routes and Terres de luttes are organising two events on 7 and 8 October 2026, marking the start of a series of events, meetings and workshops throughout 2026–2027 on the Cité Descartes campus.
8 October: ‘In the face of major development projects, reopening up new possibilities’
The day will be structured around round-table discussions bringing together activists and researchers, as well as forward-looking and creative workshops. Activists and researchers will discuss the legitimacy of large-scale development projects, as well as critical and alternative approaches to them. This is neither a academic conference nor an activist event, but a hybrid gathering aimed at discussing the role of research and the significance of social struggles in the context of environmental, social and political crises.
On 7 October, from 6 pm to 8 pm, a film screening followed by a discussion on the film ‘L’intérêt général et moi’
In the presence of the co-directors, Sophie Metrich and Julien Milanesi, and Anthony Briant, Director of the School.
