A unique conference at the School with Naval Group, GTT & Louis Dreyfus Armateurs

On May 13, École nationale des ponts et chaussées welcomed three leading figures from the French maritime sector for a conference: Pierre Éric Pommellet, Chairman of Naval Group, Philippe Berterottière, Chairman of GTT, and Edouard Louis-Dreyfus, Chairman of Louis Dreyfus Armateurs.

Gathered to discuss innovative avenues for development and maritime sovereignty, they offered an exchange that was both strategic and accessible. Discussions covered such crucial issues as energy transition in the naval sector, France's place in international technological competition, and the role of engineers in building a sustainable maritime future.

They also demonstrated that the maritime sector today offers many concrete and exciting opportunities for new generations.
The event was organized by d.school Paris, Marine & Océans Magazine and Deep Blue Foundation, on the initiative of student Amine Lehna. It was part of a series of exchanges aimed at putting the sea back at the heart of strategic thinking and the training of future decision-makers.
