9th edition of A Night For Entrepreneurship (Une Nuit Pour Entreprendre)

École nationale des ponts et chaussées launches the 9th edition of A Night for Entrepreneurship (Une Nuit Pour Entreprendre) !

This introductory business creation event encourages students to develop their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. Working in small groups, they have one night to develop an innovative project. In the early hours of the morning, these projects are submitted to a jury made up of members of the School and entrepreneurs.

After a presentation from an entrepreneur, the students take part in a project launch workshop, the first step in a collaborative project under the guidance of experienced professionals. The projects are then presented between 7am and 9.30am to a panel of judges made up of the School general direction, alumni who have become entrepreneurs and recognised professionals, who assess their relevance and viability. Prizes will be awarded to the best teams by the Fondation des Ponts and Fondation Singular Planet, as well as Vinci and L'Oréal, partner companies.

The competition is open to École nationale des ponts et chaussées' students, as well as to students from other institution in the Paris region and from the EELISA European university, whether they are interested in setting up their own business, already have a project in mind or are just in a discovery process.

Programme

- 6.30 PM: welcoming students
- 7.00PM: opening lecture: Martin Besnier (Ponts '021) Cofounder of Holis
- 7.45 PM: project launch workshop
- 9.00PM-6.30AM :collaborative work supervised by coaches
- 7:00AM-09.30AM: presentation of projects to the jury and prize-giving ceremony
