Alain Pecker to deliver the 18th Mallet-Milne Lecture at the Institution of Civil Engineers in London

Alain Pecker, Professor at the School and Member of the Académie des Technologies, has been nominated by the committee of the Society for Earthquake and Civil Engineering Dynamics (An associated society of the Institution of Civil Engineers) to give the 18th Mallet-Milne Lecture in London on May 31st, 2023.
The Mallet-Milne Lecture is a prestigious biennial conference on earthquake engineering. Alain Pecker, who has long taught the Structural Dynamics course at the School, has been nominated to give this lecture "in recognition of his long and distinguished career and his significant contributions to the theory and practice of geotechnical earthquake engineering."
