Businesses and Territories: what kind of ecological co-construction?

11 Feb. 2026

The Chair in Urban Ecological Transition Economics is organizing its third conference at the Collège de France, entitled “Businesses and Territories: What Kind of Ecological Co-construction?”, in partnership with the Association of Real Estate Directors (ADI).

This edition focuses on non-residential real estate and its structuring role in the ecological transition of territories. It offers a cross-disciplinary discussion between researchers, elected officials, investors, real estate managers, and public actors on the conditions for economic development that is compatible with local environmental trajectories.

The conference will be structured around two round tables.

Insights from regional experiences, particularly in Marseille, Paris La Défense, and Sophia Antipolis, which are facing new economic and urban dynamics, will enrich the discussions.

This morning event is aimed at all professionals, decision-makers, and academics who want to understand how non-residential real estate can become a key lever for ecological co-construction between businesses and regions.
