Congress of Young Researchers in Applied Mathematics
École nationale des ponts et chaussées will host the 5th edition of the CJC-MA, Congrès des Jeunes Chercheur.e.s en Mathématiques Appliquées - Congress of Young Researchers in Applied Mathematics. This annual event is targeted at young researchers in applied mathematics.
It will be held with a threefold objective:
- to create a framework for scientific exchanges between young researchers and more experienced ones on various mathematical research topics and their applications;
- to give visibility to the work of young researchers through presentations and posters;
- to create a framework for discussion on opportunities for a scientific and/or academic career.
The chosen format aims to foster discussions, networking, and the presentation of ongoing research. It will include:
- 3 plenary lectures (1 hour each) by established speakers,
- 5 thematic parallel sessions (1 hour 30 minutes each) featuring oral presentations, one of which (on the first day) will take the form of a special session with invited speakers, possibly linked to themes supported by awarded grants,
- 1 poster session (1 hour),
- 1 thematic round table (1 hour 30 minutes).
