EELISA Grand meeting in Istanbul
The Board of Directors and the Executive Board of EELISA European University will meet in Istanbul, Turkey, from November 17 to 19.
Alongside these two governing bodies, three other committees will gather to advance the Alliance’s work: Working Group 9 on Researchers & Talents, the Student Council, and the Staff Representatives.
The main objective remains the same: to strengthen the commitment of all rectors, presidents, and directors toward the transition of the Alliance from a project-based framework to a sustainable and long-term cooperative entity.
As part of its expansion strategy, the Alliance will, on this occasion, sign agreements for the accession of two new associate partners: the Technical University of Moldova (UTM) and the University of São Paulo (USP).
The six-month rotating presidency of the Board of Directors, composed of the heads of the Alliance’s member institutions, has been held by Anthony Briant, from the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (ENPC), and El Mouhoub Mouhoud, from Université Paris Sciences et Lettres (PSL). This Board meeting will be an opportunity to announce the new two-year presidency of the Executive Board, to be held by Marie-Christine Bert, Director of International Relations at ENPC.
It is worth noting that, in parallel with these meetings, the first edition of the Student Bootcamp will take place, with the active participation of students from ENPC and partner institutions—a strong symbol of student involvement in shaping the governance of the university of the future.
