This documentary, presented at Another Way Film Festival (Festival of Film and Sustainable Progress of Madrid), received a special mention from the EELISA European University jury as part of the EELISA Loves Arts campaign.
This is a thought-provoking sci-fic documentary that explores the first ecosystem in Europe to obtain legal rights: the Mar Menor lagoon. It explores how the unlikely relationships between paradise, invasive blue crabs, nitrates and Mar Menor's mining deposits intertwine deeply to tell the wider story of capitalism's extractive and cumulative effects on the environment over time, combined with record temperatures and monsoon-like storms.
