These results, based on rigorous performance indicators such as academic reputation, employer reputation, and research impact, highlight the growing global influence and the excellence of the multidisciplinary approach of the Institute and its members.
The 2026 edition showcases an outstanding progression across core disciplines, with 13 Subjects now ranked in the global Top 100, particularly evident in:
- Mathematics: achieving an impressive 24th place globally, confirming our historical scientific excellence.
- Engineering & Technology: now ranked 29th globally, reflecting our commitment to cutting-edge innovation
- Statistics & Operational Research: breaking into the world’s elite at 35th position.
- Computer Science & Information Systems: 56th worldwide, confirming IP Paris as a key player in the digital and AI landscape.
This year also marks a significant expansion of our academic footprint, with IP Paris entering the rankings in 8 new Subjects, including:
- Engineering / Civil & Structural (44th)
- Geophysics (51–100)
- Data Science & Artificial Intelligence (51–100)
- Architecture / Built Environment
- Accounting & Finance
