Karine Sartelet awarded a medal from the Institute of Industrial Sciences at the University of Tokyo

Karine Sartelet, researcher at CEREA - Atmospheric Environment Education and Research Center - was awarded a medal this summer by the Institute of Industrial Sciences at the University of Tokyo, following her lecture on "Multi-scale modelling of air quality in cities", and after nearly four years of fruitful collaboration with the Ooka and Kikumoto laboratory. This collaboration focuses on understanding the formation of pollutants in city neighbourhoods and streets, in order to reduce the high concentrations observed.
