Lab recherche environnement: the School renews its collaboration with VINCI, in partnership with AgroParisTech and MINES Paris-PSL
The renewal of the lab environnement recherche Chair took place on 30 November in Paris in the presence of Xavier Huillard, Chairman and CEO of VINCI, and the directors of the three partner schools: Anthony Briant, director of École nationale des ponts et chaussées; Laurent Buisson, Director General of AgroParisTech and Vincent Laflèche, Director of MINES Paris-PSL. It brings together 4 major players from the worlds of business higher education and research to find practical solutions to improve the environmental performance of buildings to improve the environmental performance of buildings, neighbourhoods and infrastructures.
The research themes cover three major ambitions: reducing the environmental impact of impact of building and infrastructure projects; developing artificial intelligence to help intelligence to help reduce the carbon footprint of buildings and transport, and improving the well-being, comfort and health of users, through work on mitigating the effects of urban heat islands and the urban water cycle. The VINCI Group is making a substantial scientific sponsorship commitment of 6 million until 2028
