Launch of the Advanced Master in Energy Renovation of Old Buildings
École nationale des ponts et chaussées launched a new Advanced Master in Energy Renovation of Old Buildings, constructed before 1948.
Energy Renovation of Old Buildings
In a context of accelerating climate change, resource scarcity, and systemic instability, the rehabilitation of old buildings can no longer be limited to a strictly architectural or heritage-based approach. It must fully integrate the imperatives of sustainability, decarbonization, sobriety, and resilience in order to guarantee the heritage's ability to stand the test of time.
It will be led by Dominique Naert, Director of the Advanced Master in Sustainable Real Estate and Building, and supported by the Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine through the École de Chaillot.
Applications are now open to join the first cohort, expected to start in September 2026.
