A look back at the 9th edition of A Night For Entrepreneurship

On the night of 7 to 8 December, École nationale des ponts et chaussées organised the 9th edition of "Une Nuit Pour Entreprendre" (A Night For Entrepreneurship), the flagship event of its entrepreneurship awareness programme.

During this nocturnal competition, 13 projects were created in teams by around 75 students from the School and about fifteen other establishments, including engineering schools such as IP Paris (École polytechnique, Télécom Paris, Ensta Paris), the Institut d'Optique Graduate School or CentralSupélec, business schools (HEC, Paris School of Business...)... The jury included Anthony Briant, Director of École nationale des ponts et chaussées, Louis-Marie Pons, Chairman of the Fondation des Ponts, Elodie Grimoin, co-founder of Urban Canopee, and Noé Vinot-Kahn, funder of Omni.

The participating students had one night (from 8.00 pm to 7.00 am) to design and submit their project (oral and powerpoint presentations and the production of a mini-film). They were monitored and advised by 16 coaches made up of alumni, School staff, entrepreneurship professionals and entrepreneurs.

A dozen themes were proposed to the students: Data - IT - AI / Energy and ecological transition - Environment / Finance - Economics - Marketing / Society - Education / Health - Food - Personal care / Urban development - Construction / Industry - Logistics / Sport - Leisure / Transport - Mobility.

The 2023 winners are...

The 1st prize, awarded by the Fondation des Ponts, and the special prize for ecological transition, awarded by Singular Planet, went to TERRA NOVA (who wins 1,800€) , a project to recover excavated earth for sustainable construction.
The winners were Dmitrii Kuligin, Ulysse Collé & Joëlle Saliba from École nationale des ponts et chaussées, Albin Joyeux, Alexis Rusalem & Victor Vaissié from ENSTA Paris.

The 2nd prize, awarded by Leonard/Vinci, went to the team that created the SALTY project, which aims to measure and optimise CO2 storage in salt marshes. The project was devised by Gabriel Talom Kuidjo, from the School, Valentine Veillon from ISEP, Grégoire Guillot, from ENST Paris, Alix Trébaol from de Sciences Po and Bruno Kalfa from Télécom Paris.

The 3rd prize, awarded by L'Oréal, went to MATCH PARFAIT, a matchmaking application for sportspeople. The team is made up of 3 students from École nationale des ponts et chaussées: Baudouin Deboës, Théo Desbrus & Ryad Haldy, as well as a student from Télécom Paris, Florian Celton.
