The School awarded European funding for its CLUGNET doctoral programme

The École nationale des ponts et chaussées has been named among the 2026 winners of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) COFUND programme with CLUGNET (Climate-ready Urban Geosystems and Networked Engineering for pluri-Transitions).

This new doctoral programme aims to tackle the major challenges of the ecological, energy, digital and societal transitions through interdisciplinary research combining environmental sciences, engineering, mathematics, economics and social sciences.

Over five years, CLUGNET will fund 20 international PhD places within the School’s laboratories. The programme will offer a training environment that promotes international mobility, academic collaborations and partnerships with socio-economic stakeholders. It is scheduled to launch in mid-2027, with the first calls for applications due in the coming months.
