The School celebrates science

14 Oct. 2023

To celebrate the French national Fête de la Science (science fair festival), École nationale des ponts et chaussées is opening its doors on Saturday October 14th from 2pm to 6pm, offering workshops, exhibitions, demonstrations, shows and tours to discover the results of research and how it is carried out.

A large number of activities are dedicated to the national theme of "Sport and Science". Indeed, this theme is at the heart of research at the School, which is a founding member of the "Sciences 2024 - Sports and Science, a Golden Alliance" research program, aimed at helping top French athletes optimize their performance in the run-up to the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Sporting events are on offer throughout the afternoon: rowing machines and connected bikes, table tennis...

École nationale des ponts et chaussées is also offering an "Hors les murs" (outside its premises) program with partners from the region, and will be welcoming pupils on Friday October 13th, 2023.

The School will also be celebrating science online via its digital magazine Ingenius, with a special Sport and Science feature to be published in October.
