The School contributes to training public services in ecological transition

03 Feb. 2026

Following training in ecological transition for central administration directors and  senior government officials, the government has taken a further step by extending this training program, with adapted methods, to all 2.5 million government employees. They will now have access to online training modules on ecological transition based on the same program as that offered to senior executives, developed by leading scientists, some of whom have participated in the work of the IPCC.

This approach promotes more sustainable management within ministries and ensures that ecological transition issues are taken into account in the design and implementation of all public policies.

Based on recognized scientific knowledge and field expertise, these modules offer access to a high-quality training program that identifies levers that can be mobilized within public services. They include a module from the École nationale des ponts et chaussées focusing on levers for action, mobilizing employees in their professional environment, and the practical implementation of transitions.
