International networks
The T.I.M.E. Network with 53 Schools, Engineering Faculties and Technical Universities; the EUCEET Association, which maintains the continuity of the EUCEET (European Civil Engineering Education and Training) Network; and the Programme de Formation d’Ingénieurs d’Excellence au Vietnam (PFIEV – excellence program for engineer training in Vietnam), are the 3 networks to which the School belongs.
The T.I.M.E. Network (Top Industrial Managers for Europe), founded in 1989, brings together 53 of the best Schools, Engineering Faculties and Technical Universities in Europe and, in recent years, the rest of the world (Brazil, China, Japan).
The network’s member institutions have the possibility of signing double-degree agreements amongst themselves in order to internationalize their recruitment by opening their courses up to students from other countries and to offer their own students the possibility of studying for degree qualifications at partner universities.
Bicultural course programs
The students, selected from the best in their universities, study for 5 to 6 years and, when they complete their education, receive two Masters level degree from two different countries. In order to emphasize the bicultural nature of the degrees, the exchanges are organized in such a way that the global curriculum includes elements that represent what is most distinctive and best in each institution’s educational offering.
After completing this program, T.I.M.E. graduates are capable of working anywhere in the world and in multicultural environments.
An exchange of good practices
Apart from connecting up the best European, Brazilian, Chinese and Japanese universities in order to establish double-degree agreements, the T.I.M.E. Network provides a platform where members can exchange information and good practices and promote the excellence of their engineering courses more visibly. The Network therefore enables École nationale des ponts et chaussées to publicize the quality of its engineering degree and its positioning amongst the best European and worldwide providers.
Promoting academix excellence to companies
Membership of the T.I.M.E. Network also helps it to promote the academic excellence of its programs to businesses, which are well aware of the very high quality of the engineers and managers who graduate from member institutions. Mobile, bicultural, and bilingual engineers: in other words, the engineers of tomorrow that businesses need today.

The EUCEET Association was founded in 2007 to ensure the continuity of the EUCEET (European Civil Engineering Education and Training) Thematic Network. Between 1998 and 2010, this thematic network has received financial support from the European Commission (Directorate General Education and Culture) for four consecutive projects.
Ecole nationale des ponts et chaussées is a founding member of the EUCEET association and has twice hosted its general assembly (2009 and 2019).
The aim of the Association is to promote cooperation between higher education institutions by offering training programmes in civil engineering, to contribute to the development of civil engineering training criteria based on learning outcomes and competencies, and to foster the development of civil engineering education and training programmes, to establish permanent links with the construction industry in Europe and to ensure that the views and needs of the industry with regard to educational programmes are known to the academic world, but also to promote the mobility of students and teaching staff in higher education institutions offering civil engineering training programmes.

Founded in 2012 by the École nationale des ponts et chaussées and the University of Tokyo, the Deans' Forum brings together five French Grandes Écoles: École nationale des ponts et chaussées, CentraleSupélec, École Polytechnique, Mines ParisTech and IMT Atlantique, IBM-Watson , also a founding member, as well as several universally recognized universities in the technical fields: University of Tokyo (Japan), UC Berkeley (United States), MIT, ETH Zürich (Switzerland), Imperial College London (United Kingdom), University of Cambridge (United Kingdom), University of Oxford (United Kingdom), KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden), Technical University of Munich (Germany).
It takes the form of an annual meeting bringing together Directors and Deans of Engineering Schools members and representatives of the industrial world invited to express themselves and debate on a chosen theme. It is a unique moment of exchange where questions linked to teaching and research are tackled.
IUIA
In September 2015, the École nationale des ponts et chaussées signed an agreement with the International Universities Innovation Alliance. The IUIA is committed to bringing out international entrepreneurial projects, drawing on a powerful network of several prestigious universities, companies and investment funds around the world. "The objective of this recognized structure is to stimulate technological innovation and economic development. Its large international network enables it to identify and then select the best entrepreneurial projects in order to support them in their development.
UASR
In March 2016, the Paristech School of Bridges joined the University Alliance for the Silk Road, founded by Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU). The mission of this alliance is to foster cooperation between China and the countries on the New Silk Roads, in the field of Education, Research and Innovation. To date, the Alliance brings together 132 universities in 32 countries, including 3 French schools.
GUGTTA
On October 29, 2017 in Shanghai, the École nationale des ponts et chaussées joined the Alliance of Think-Tanks for Global City Governance (“Global Urban Governance Think Tanks Alliance - GUGTTA”) as a founding member of the University of Shanghai Jiaotong, City University of New-York, National University of Singapore, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Korea University.
At the initiative of Shanghai Jiaotong University, the GUGTTA alliance aims to connect think-tanks in world cities that are facing rampant urbanization and consequences such as breathless transport infrastructure, a degraded environment and housing become inaccessible. A call to re-invent the governance of world cities was thus launched in the "Shanghai declaration" signed by the 7 founding members representing the cities of Shanghai, Hong-Kong, Singapore, Seoul, New York and Paris.
