Three doctors from the School awarded Thesis Prizes

Three doctors from the School were honored for their work at the Paris-Est Sup 2024 Thesis Awards ceremony held on December 4, 2025.
- Maxime Pierre for his thesis “Numerical modeling of cement-based materials from early-age to hardened state: application to 3D concrete printing control,” completed at the Navier Laboratory (SIE Doctoral School - Paris-Est Partenaires Doctoral College) and supervised by Siavash Ghabezloo, Patrick Dangla, Matthieu Vandamme, Romain Mesnil, and Jean-François Caron.
Maxime Pierre is also the winner of the "Business" Thesis Award presented by Descartes Développement & Innovation. - Mathis Petrovich for his thesis “Natural Language Control for 3D Human Motion Synthesis,” completed at the LIGM-Imagine (MSTIC Doctoral School - Paris-Est Partenaires Doctoral College), supervised by Gül Varol and Michael J. Black.
- Pille-Riin Aja received the "Territory" Thesis Award by Agglomération Paris-Vallée de la Marne for her thesis "Blind spots in energy efficiency policies - perspectives on information and incentive mechanisms", completed at CIRED (VET Doctoral School - Paris-Est Partenaires Doctoral College), supervised by Louis-Gaétan Giraudet.
This yearly distinctions reward the best doctoral work, preselected from among the previous year's graduates for its quality, originality, and societal impact.
