A look back at the 2026 Science Festival at the School!

12 Oct. 2026

The 5th edition of the Fête de la Science was, once again this year, a great success!

The open day, organised in partnership with Geodata, showcased the research carried out at the School through the science village, numerous workshops, tours and demonstrations led by our researchers, centred on the national theme ‘Saveurs savantes’ and key research areas at the School.

On Friday 9 October, engineering students from the Dévelop’Ponts association welcomed secondary school pupils from three schools within the Cordées de la Réussite network, introducing them to science in a fun way through workshops they had designed and led.

An ‘outreach’ programme to further promote scientific culture

The School also organised an ‘outreach’ programme in collaboration with partners from 6 to 10 October:

  • several performances of the musical fairy tale ‘La plus grande richesse du monde’ (The Greatest Wealth in the World), created by the theatre company La Cour des Contes and drawing on research from the OCAPI (LEESU) action research programme in Champs-sur-Marne, for primary school pupils,
  • a talk entitled “Balade sous la pluie” by Auguste Gires, a researcher at the School’s CEREA, held at the Cité des sciences et de l’industrie,
  • a presentation by Romain Tramoy, a researcher at LEESU, in several primary school classes in Champs-sur-Marne.

Thank you to the entire School community, which rallied in force to inspire a love of science and make it accessible to all!
