Three projects involving the School selected under the first EELISA Joint Academic Call
EELISA has announced the results of its first Joint Academic Call, launched in April 2026 to support the development of new collaborative learning opportunities across the Alliance. Three of the 35 selected proposals involve École nationale des ponts et chaussées.
With a budget of more than €250,000, the first EELISA Joint Academic Call is designed to put the Alliance’s Joint Academic Roadmap into practice. It supports the development of innovative academic initiatives that can be implemented, recognised and potentially replicated across EELISA partner institutions.
The selected projects cover several forms of academic cooperation, including the pairing of existing courses, the creation of joint courses and micro-credentials, the alignment of existing degrees with the EELISA European Engineer Profile and the development of joint degrees.
The School will contribute to three selected initiatives:
- Garden as a Living Space, a micro-credential led by ZHAW in partnership with École des Ponts and Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. The project explores the garden as a space for living, learning and experimentation;
- EELISA Entrepreneur Status, a micro-credential coordinated by Université PSL and involving École des Ponts alongside several EELISA member institutions. The initiative aims to develop and recognise entrepreneurial skills across the Alliance;
- Bridges for Beginners, a micro-credential led by the Budapest University of Technology and Economics in partnership with École des Ponts, providing an introduction to bridge design and engineering.
Overall, the call selected three joint degree projects, ten joint courses, five micro-credential programmes, fourteen course-pairing initiatives and three degree-alignment projects.
These new collaborations will contribute to diversifying EELISA’s academic offer, strengthening cooperation between partner institutions and expanding physical and virtual mobility opportunities for students across the Alliance.
Through its involvement in these three projects, École des Ponts reaffirms its commitment to an innovative and interdisciplinary European education model addressing major scientific, technological and societal challenges.
