Mechanics program
M2 Solid mechanics (formerly AMMS and DMS)
The Solid Mechanics program will train students in the mechanical modeling of materials and structures, integrating the properties of their various components and information about their arrangement at different spatial scales. After completing the core curriculum, students will have a wide choice of electives covering topics such as the sustainability of materials and structures, multiphysics modeling, multilayer structures, and more.
The targeted applications cover all industrial sectors that use materials and structural mechanics, such as mechanical engineering and civil engineering.
Career opportunities for graduates of this program include pursuing a PhD or working as an engineer in R&D or in a mechanical or civil engineering design office.
- Refresher course: second week of September.
- First term: third week of September to December.
- Second term: December to February.
- Internship: March to September, with defenses in September.
