He has been working at Electricité de France (EDF) and at the Saint-Venant Hydraulics Laboratory (Paris-East University) since 1997. He is a specialist in environmental fluid mechanics with focus on numerical modeling, turbulence, water waves and coastal waterworks.
He teaches Fluid mechanics at École nationale des ponts et chaussées and Ecole Normale Supérieure de Paris-Saclay. In 2015, he has been awarded ‘Arthur Thomas Ippen Award’ by the International Association of Hydro-environmental Engineering and Research.
