Summer School du Centre interdisciplinaire Energy4Climate et du Campus de la Transition
La Summer School, organisée par le Centre interdisciplinaire Energy4Climate (E4C) et le Campus de la Transition, explore les interactions entre la technologie et la transition énergétique d'un point de vue interdisciplinaire. Les activités mettront l'accent sur le dialogue entre diverses approches et pratiques, dépassant l'opposition entre les vues techno-optimistes et les perspectives low-tech.
Le thème retenu pour cette édition : Low and high techs: which social-technical solutions for the energy transition?
La Summer School se déroulera en anglais, du 26 juin au 1er juillet à Palaiseau (Centre interdisciplinaire Energy4Climate) et du 2 au 7 juillet à Forges (Campus de la Transition).

- 26/06: Welcoming, framing of the school and presentation of the case studies.
- 27/06: Ecological issues & obstacles to the transformation of cities and building & Experiences of scientists’ engagement
- 28/06: Design Fiction: Designing disruptive visions of future buildings
- 29/06: Engaging with socio-technical controversies
- 30/06: Managing innovation and discussing high-tech experiences
- 03/07: Introducing the Campus, its building and its project & introducing industrial ecology through life-cycle analysis
- 04/07: Making sense of sufficiency and experimenting with low-techs & Rethinking the neutrality of scientists and engaging in research action
- 05/07: Challenging the dominant energy paradigm: the uneven historical development of alternative energies
- 06/07: Taming technological development?
- 07/07: Final project presentations and conclusion
Lancé en juin 2019 par l’Institut Polytechnique de Paris et l’École nationale des ponts et chaussées, E4C s’implique dans la transition énergétique, par le biais de la recherche, de la formation et de l’innovation.
