Tony Lelièvre received his PhD in 2004, and his Habilitation in 2009. He has been working on multiscale models for non-newtonian flows, numerical simulation of free surface flows, and molecular simulation, using tools from probability theory and partial differential equation theory. He is co-author of two books (Mathematical Methods for the Magnetohydrodynamics of Liquid Metals and Free Energy Computations: A Mathematical Perspective) and about one hundred papers. He received various scientific awards inlcuding an ERC consolidator grant (2014-2019).
